Animal Welfare Endowment Fund

The Animal Welfare Endowment Fund of the Community Foundation of the North State supports non-profits and public agencies that provide for the welfare and care of animals in Shasta, Siskiyou, and Tehama counties. Grants are made annually through a competitive process in the following categories:  supporting homeless animals; supporting owned pets; supporting wildlife; supporting working animals; and disaster preparedness for animals. 

The Animal Welfare Endowment Fund has granted over $200,000 to support the care and welfare of animals in Shasta, Siskiyou and Tehama counties since its founding.
