Annapolis Opera Incorporated

The Annapolis Opera is a treasure. Now in our 44th year, the Annapolis Opera has flourished during a period when many opera companies have failed. The loyalty and commitment of the Annapolis arts community has been steadfast and generous. Community members support the opera financially, but their time, energy, and resourcefulness have also been critical to our success.

This year, we are expanding our season to include a second, fully staged production. This will be our first season since 2002 – 2003 with two fully staged productions. We will also present three concerts, as well as a Children’s Opera, a Vocal Competition, and a Pop-up Opera. We have expanded our season to better accomplish our three goals: (1) to broaden the cultural life of the community; (2) to support young, emerging artists; and (3) to enhance the music education.

By expanding our season, we hope to significantly enhance our service to the community in each area. If you would like to direct your contribution to support one or more of these specific goals, we will scrupulously honor your request. Please get involved if you can.
