From the initial cancer diagnosis, a ripple effect takes place: The patient and everyone else affected look for support, guidance, and ways to cope with the overwhelming news. Beyond the fear and questioning, doctors’ appointments, and hospital visits, there are difficult decisions to be made, additional schedules to juggle, and new arrangements to be orchestrated—just to stay afloat during treatment and recovery.

On top of all of this, somehow regular life must go on.

Fortunately, there’s a unique place in our community where cancer patients and their loved ones can find the strength and support they need to focus on recovery and healing. Welcome to Wellness House of Annapolis.

Wellness House of Annapolis is a support facility in a home-like setting separate from clinical environments. Cancer patients, their families, and their caregivers can relax in our gardens, gather information from our resource library, and participate in support groups and healing arts programs. Working in cooperation with area hospitals, our staff and volunteers include trained, experienced professionals and cancer survivors. All programs and services are free, open to anyone who has been affected by cancer, and funded by volunteer support and donations.
