Anne Arundel County Food Bank Inc

The Anne Arundel County Food Bank is a free resource bank that gives away food and donated appliances, furniture, medical equipment, baby items, cars and other items that will help families make a home and a better way of life.

• Our 79 pantries distributed over 201,000 bags of food to approximately 40,000 families feeding approximately 120,000 people in need in FY 12.
• In FY 12, our soup kitchens served more than 530,000 nutritious meals to homeless and hungry citizens in our county.
• The past year 165 families were assisted through the Nutritional Diet Program, which ensures that seniors and infants with diet constraints are not left at risk of hunger or malnutrition, which could increase poor health.
