Antigua International Education Foundation

The Antigua International School (AIS) provides an active and disciplined educational environment where children are encouraged to seek knowledge and truth, grow in compassion and respect and find joy in learning. For a child who has the benefit of such an education, the possibilities are limitless.

The education emphasizes critical thinking, problem solving and application of information to real-world issues. Students are guided to discovering their unique capabilities and encouraged to take an active role in their education. Rather than simply memorizing facts, students learn how to analyze information, apply acquired knowledge to their life experiences and express their ideas with clarity, confidence and compassion for the beliefs of others.

AIS operates as a non-profit organization and is supported by the Antigua International Education Foundation a 501(c)(3) in the U.S. Currently over half of the students are receiving financial assistance. The tuition, while expensive for many families in Antigua, is not a reflection of inflated administrative costs or our commitment to supporting a diverse student body.  All financial assistance is provided for by donations and more than two-thirds of the tuition is devoted to attracting a talented faculty.
