Anu has a 29 year history providing innovative solutions that help create permanence, safety & well-being for children & families

Anu is an innovative, award-winning organization focused on keeping kids from going into out-of-home care and getting kids out of out-of-home care.  When that is not immediately possible, we work to heal kids' grief, loss, and trauma in one of our healing foster homes where we help build their network of support so when they are ready, they are able to form healthy relationships within a permanent family.  Anu has been nationally accredited by the “gold standard” in child welfare accreditation —The Council on Accreditation (COA)—since our inception in 1992.

What Your Gift Can Do

$50 gives parents the resources, guidance, and coaching to help their children feel safe and loved.

$100 covers the cost of travel to hit the pavement in an exhaustive search for relatives and kin.

$250 meets the special needs of foster children with sensory healing blankets, mobility equipment, and camp experiences

$1,500 provides a month of Intensive Trauma Healing Services that helps a youth grieve loss, heal trauma, and restore trust.

Our service specialization started with treatment foster care and has expanded to service offerings in, medically fragile foster care, respite foster care, intensive permanence services, intensive trauma services, parent coaching and parent support services, Parent Coaching Certification, training & consultation. We have offices in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Hudson, Eau Claire, and Madison, Wisconsin.
