Our Mission: We cultivate healthy, long-lasting, and vibrant Asian and Pacific Islander communities through grassroots organizing.

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, we learned from many of our nonprofit partners in Little Tokyo, Koreatown, Historic Filipinotown, Chinatown, the South Bay, and the San Gabriel Valley that there is critical need for fresh produce in many at risk populations. Your support is valued now more than ever during this time of crisis that requires our organization, along with so many other front line essential service staff, to do everything we can to assist the most vulnerable. 

Please consider donating to APIFM's Give in May campaign. We are fundraising to support the staff time, mileage, and produce costs required to expand these critical food services and continue our current operations. Your gracious gift allows us to distribute fresh produce bags, eggs and culturally relevant food items directly to families in need, especially older folx who are unable to leave their homes. APIFM bags include a variety of fun and in-language nutrition fact sheets, recipes, physical activity info-graphics, and COVID-19 updates. 

Our staff is working tirelessly to respond to community needs through the APIFM Emergency CSA Program. Every month our team distributes over 800 Emergency CSA produce bags from local API farmers to at-risk folx, including elders, low-income households, and families, while also sustaining our local farmers who have experienced challenges with selling their produce.
