Appalachian Wildlife Refuge is a 501c3 nonprofit that coordinates the needs of wildlife rehabilitation in Western North Carolina providing care for injured and orphaned wildlife, support for the wildlife rehabilitation network and conservation education to the community. The wildlife rehabilitation community is struggling to care for the large number of wild animals in crisis each year. Appalachian Wild was formed to help and provide more trained people and resources in Western North Carolina. The new Wildlife Urgent Care facility is expecting to serve over 2,000 animals in 2018! Your support gives our native wildlife a place to go for help!
