Celebrating a quarter-century of service, ARISE raises cultural and ethnic awareness through the songs and stories of the African American experience, from pre-Civil War to the Civil Rights Era.

Recent ARISE performances brought capacity crowds to their feet at Wichita State University and at the group's gala Silver Anniversary Celebration. ARISE also has performed at the Wichita River Festival, and live on KWCH-12 televison.

The tireless devotion of our dues-paying members makes ARISE one of the most dedicated, and frugal, musical assets in Wichita.

You can help ARISE bring its message of harmony and hope to even more listeners. We are in need of funds to help offset ongoing expenses such as rehearsal hall rental, sheet music, original costumes, and travel expenses to perform in other communities.
