Arizona Children's Alliance DBA Treasures 4 Teachers of Tucson

Treasures 4 Teachers of Tucson started almost 2 years ago to answer the need for teachers to have affordable supplies for their classroom. 

I had been in education for over 40 years as a teacher of both early childhood education and elementary school. I spent a lot of money out of pocket on my classrooms.  In 2011, I lost my 28 year old son to epilepsy and 84 year old father to a stroke in less than a month. To overcome my grief I started building a program to give back to the community I had been involved in. It brought such joy to the teachers that I knew it was the right thing to do. 

I enlisted help from my company, husband, friends and the community and soon donations were pouring in for the teachers. We have grown rapidly in 2 years and with the help of our volunteers we have over 300 members, who reach over 10,000 students when they shop with us.
