Arizona Elk Society

The Arizona Elk Society was founded by sportsmen interested in restoring elk habitat across Arizona. The benefits of the work that we are doing is far reaching to all wildlife in the areas we work in. In addition to wildlife habitat AES is educating our youth and new sportsmen and women about the importance of conservation and protecting our access and the hunting heritage.

Arizona has a diverse wildlife population but there are threats to the wildlife, their habitat, hunting and our ability to access the land.  By uniting to fight these threats we strengthen ourselves to continue to protect the heritage we created.

By donating to the Arizona Elk Society you strengthen an organization that recognizes the need for sportsmen to be represented at many levels, from boots on the ground to land and wildlife agencies and our Capitol.   Your support helps us to stay involved in programs and issues that not only threaten hunting but threaten our use of public lands and access to those lands.  We work daily on our programs that improve the quality of habitat that the wildlife needs to thrive.  We are constantly looking for ways to educate and offer opportunity for the public, new hunters and youth to get involved.   From our Water for Wildlife Program, Heroes Rising Outdoors, Habitat Partners of Arizona Program and our Youth outdoor Skills Program we are supporting, protecting and improving Arizona’s Outdoor Heritage.

2024 has been a year of growth for the AES, we now work hand in hand with Arizona Game and Fish, the U.S. Forest Service and other land agencies doing large scale wildlife habitat projects with our volunteer force and contractors restoring Arizona's elk range wildlife habitat inc., grassland restoration, spring and riparian lands restoration and much more.
