Arizona Preservation Foundation

Since 1979, the Arizona Preservation Foundation has worked with local, state, and national partners to promote and protect Arizona’s historic resources. We publish a Historic Preservation Referral Guide for homeowners and building professionals. We consult with neighborhoods, historic districts, and communities on their preservation projects and offer Jumpstart Grants to give a boost to local projects, especially if a historic resource is threatened. We issue Preservation Alerts when there’s news of possible demolition. We communicate success stories and challenges through social media and the Web. We publicize commercial historic buildings for sale. We hold webinars and book club events to inspire and build community. We co-sponsor the annual Preserve AZ Conference and Governor’s Heritage Preservation Honor Awards. And we’re always ready to advocate for historic preservation in your community.
