Arizona State Railroad Museum Foundation

A nonprofit organization

The Arizona State Railroad Museum Foundation serves to support the Museum’s mission for the collection, preservation, interpretation, and exhibition of historic and cultural artifacts relating to the railroad history, development, and heritage of Arizona.  Emphasis of the Museum’s interactive interpretive educational exhibits is on Arizona’s multi-ethnic cultural history.

The Museum is not a state agency.  “State” refers to the scope of the Museum as being statewide and involving interpretation of all seventy-six of Arizona’s historical railroads and the cultural and ethnic diversity that grew up with and around them.  This emphasis is unique and will bring to life the people stories from 18877 to the present with a look into the future.

The 106,000 square foot Museum and campus is a short distance from the Grand Canyon and co-located with the Grand Canyon Railway in Williams, Arizona.  Interactive interior and exterior exhibits will be located on the 21-acre campus centered around a turntable and amphitheater.

The Foundation is incorporated under the laws of Arizona and is a non-profit organization under IRS Code 501(c)(3).  Accordingly, donations are tax deductible.

Please check our website at www.azstaterrmuseum.org for additional information.

All donations are sincerely appreciated and will assist with the Museum’s mission.  Additionally, special “Founders” categories have been established to recognize significant donors.  This opportunity will expire with the Grand Opening in 2015.
