At only three years old, Gage did not have the safety and care that every child deserves. Gage was already in DCS custody due to his mother's substance abuse and neglect.  An early support system is proven to make a significant difference in the lifelong potential of a child. 

Gage's new family reached out to Arizona's Children Association for guidance.  Our staff connected them to a full continuum of care for Gage and the family, including licensing, adoption education, training, behavioral health management for Gage and most important, the support they needed to bring Gage into their home.  Gage now has a safe home and a forever family!

Children like Gage need and deserve immediate response and there are thousands of people who step up in ways, big and small, to become an everyday hero to children like Gage.

Located in all 15 Arizona counties, our professionally trained, caring and dedicated staff provide a broad spectrum of services that help create and sustain a healthy family environment. AzCA's core service areas include foster care and adoption, behavioral health & trauma/crisis response, family preservation & reunification, parenting education, kinship caregiver services, and transitional youth services for young adults aging out of foster care.

A donation to AzCA may qualify you for the Arizona Charitable Organization Tax Credit serving low income families (formerly known as the Working Poor Tax Credit). This tax credit can reduce state taxes, dollar-for-dollar, up to $200 for individuals and $400 for couples filing jointly. This tax credit is separate from the School Tax Credit - you can claim both!
