The Arlington Kiwanis Foundation has been serving the Arlington community since 1952.

At its core, Kiwanis is a service organization, pursuing its mission through contributions of money raised and time devoted by volunteers. By working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone.  Our mission is driven by the belief  that the most effective way to enhance a community is to encourage its children.  We believe that when a child is given a chance to learn, experience, dream, and succeed, great things will unfold.

Our foundation often focuses on uplifting the youngest community members through community programs. Such programs include (but are not limited to):

Teacher of the Year ( Recognizing Excellence in Education )
BUGS ( Bringing Up Grades ) / Elementary Schools
School Supply Squad ( School Supplies ) / Elementary & Junior High Schools
Key Clubs ( Teaching Community Service & Leadership Skills ) High Schools
Scholarships ( Recognizing Excellence in Key Club Service )
ShareFest ( Supporting Abused Women & Children )
Salvation Army ( Annual Kettle Bell Ringing Participation & Shelter Support )
Women’s Shelter ( Service Volunteers & Financial Support )
Various Under Privileged Children’ s Programs ( Service Volunteers & Financial Support )
