The mission of the Armed Services YMCA Camp Pendleton is to enhance the lives of military members and their families in spirit, mind, and body though programs that are relevant to the unique challenges of military life.

Our vision of strengthening our military family is one that we are actively achieving every day.  For the past 80 years, our focus has been to support and uplift our military population in San Diego County.  Through our programs, services, and events, we address the educational, social/emotional, and financial needs of our military community. Our current initiatives include:

  1. School-age and summer programs such as Operation Hero and Camp Hero;
  2. Childcare facilities and early learning readiness programs like Operation Little Learners and Fisher Children’s Center;
  3. Recreation and respite programs for Marines at our School of Infantry Recreation Center;
  4. Financial support programs where we provide short term emergency financial support to families through our Temporary Emergency Assistance Program (TEAP), distribute food, diapers and other goods though our monthly Neighborhood Exchange Program and Pendleton Pantry, and provide quilts to children with deployed parents through our Operation Kid Comfort program;
  5. Service events that include toy giveaways through the Santa's Workshop and Secret Santa program, Ballgown Giveaways, and Family Dances.

Together, we will be able to create stronger, more resilient military family units who are prepared with the necessary tools, tactics, and support networks to face any challenge they might encounter.  Please donate today!
