We host THE PEACE CRANE PROJECT, inviting every child in the world to fold an origami crane, write a poem or draw a picture on their crane, then either place it in their community, or thru our website, trade it with another child somewhere in the world.

154 countries engaged with us in 2014. Thousands of children exchanged cranes thru our program, and hundreds of thousands more folded cranes and placed them in their communities.

Our goal for the Peace Crane Project in 2015 is to strengthen our website, allowing classrooms to manage their own pages, post videos, message other classrooms, and arrange exchanges amongst themselves. We are also looking forward to several art events and festivals, giving us an opportunity to fold "live" and engage families and the community at large in the the Peace Crane Project.
