At the Armstrong Foundation, we are committed to empowering local youth with opportunities that make a real difference. Since 2013, we've worked tirelessly to support underserved teens in the South Puget Sound area, focusing on initiatives that break the cycle of poverty and foster healthy, active lives.
Your support can make a big impact. We're developing a driver’s education program for homeless and low-income teens to help them gain skills, stay out of legal trouble, and improve their job prospects.
Additionally, we provide sponsorships for youth sports and outdoor activities to keep kids active, build teamwork, and resist negative influences.
Every donation directly helps youth in need.
Join us in making a lasting difference in their lives.
With the support of our community, local businesses, and grants, we provide new backpacks and shoes to students in Mason and Grays Harbor Counties. Each year, we aim to deliver 2,000 backpacks and 500 pairs of shoes to help students in need, including many on the McKinney-Vento list.
Your donation ensures that every student has the essentials to succeed, stay organized, and feel confident. Join us in making a difference—one backpack and one pair of shoes at a time.
We ensure that youth and seniors aren’t forgotten during the holidays. Through the generosity of our community, we provide Christmas stockings, gift bags, Easter baskets, and holiday meals to those in homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters, and Oxford houses, as well as to youth on the McKinney-Vento list.
We also partner with schools to create homemade holiday cards for residents in long-term care, delivering blankets, flowers, socks, and small gifts to brighten their days. Your support brings warmth and joy to those who need it most during the holiday season.
Quote from Easter last year: "Armstrong Community Outreach Foundation delivered Easter baskets and plastic eggs yesterday. As I was talking to our Youth Advocate Luis, about the donation, he told me about one of the children crying because he thought the Easter bunny would not be coming this year. Knowing this gracious gift is going to bring so much joy to that child and all the other residents, it's truly invigorating."
We provide motorcycle training and safety through an annual bike raffle, generously sponsored by South Sound Honda Polaris and Suzuki, along with public donations. Working with professional trainers, experienced riders, and motorcycle schools, we’re committed to equipping riders with the skills they need to stay safe on the road, trails and MX tracks.
