On WXOX 97.1 FM we embrace the medium of radio as its own artistic practice.  In addition to experimenting with the airwaves and pushing the limits of our transmission, our community radio station provides music, news, and emergency broadcasting services 24/7/365. In addition to WXOX 97.1 FM, our signal can be enjoyed by listeners around the world on www.artxfm.com and through our free WXOX Apps.  Our volunteer-powered station is 100% listener supported. We receive no corporate money or government grants which gives us a freedom that is rare in today's media landscape. We ask for your donations on this one day to keep our station on air and commercial-free throughout the year.
