Artown

Artown is one of the nation's most comprehensive arts and cultural festivals taking place during the entire month of July. We remain committed to our mission statement: "To strengthen Reno's arts industry, foster civic identity and enhance its national image, thereby creating a climate for the cultural and economic rebirth of the region." Arts and culture is growing vigorously in Northern Nevada and Artown was created to provide a fundamental basis for local artists as well as bring a diverse array of national and international entertainment. We are proud to offer free admission to 72% of our events.  Anticipated attendance is over 300,000 community residents and regional visitors. Artown is about inclusiveness at its heart.  The arts inspire us to be better human beings.
