Since 2002, ArtsBusXpress  has enriched student learning one field trip at a time! ABX provides funding for field trips, whether on-site, virtual and/or outreach experiences to both public and charter school students within in San Diego County! ABX partners with over 100 museums, zoos, aquariums, theaters and discovery centers, allowing teachers to select from a wide variety of programs across the K-12 range. Whether it is performing science experiments about electricity at the Fleet Museum or investigating California coastal wildlife at the Living Coast Discovery Center, ABX is the only nonprofit within the county that provides funding to all San Diego County-based arts and science institutions.

Elementary Students at the San Diego Maritime Museum

"The students learned about the travel and/or hardships families endured on their trip aboard a ship.  They also learned about geology, how supply and demand affected the trade industry, and we learned and sang some fun sea chanteys. I am truly grateful to have received this support and the opportunity to take my students on a field trip this year!" ~  Michelle Chomas, teacher
