Arukah-Mind Body Soul & Spirit

At Arukah it is our mission to restore underrepresented communities. We do this focusing on the needs of the individuals in the communities. It is our goal to be a hub where women and families in need come to get the resources they need to thrive.

We offer two programs, Arukah Restores and Arukah Cares. Through Arukah Restores we help women who have experienced having an abortion. While having an abortion is common, many women find themselves experiencing depression, anxiety, regret, shame and suicidal thoughts. We created our post-abortion healing program so that women have a safe space to process their emotions and learn tools that will help them along their healing journey. Each women is apart of a support group led by women trained industry professionals. Our goal is to provide this space so that women know that they do not have to suffer in silence and that we are here to support them. 

Our program, Arukah Cares focuses on empowering, healing and educating families. Many of the families that we support have experienced tragic situations that has caused them to go into survival mode. It is our goal to bridge the gap by meetings the needs of the families in our program. Families in our program have access to community baby showers, personal development workshops, parenting workshops and community outreach events. We take a holistic approach and aim to provide resources that will help our families mentally, financially, physically, and emotionally. Through our program we believe that we will help members in underrepresented communities get from a place of surviving to thriving.
