Asha Mission Society Inc

Asha Mission Society began in 2007 with five children and two house parents in a small home in New Delhi, India. Since then we have opened additional homes in West Bengal and Manipur enabling us to care for more children.  Many of our children come from Red Light districts, leper colonies, and the slums. 

Asha Mission provides a place of refuge and care to children who have not known a stable home environment. We believe that creating a family environment is essential so our homes are intentionally kept small, so that each child receives due care and attention. By providing them with an education, a consistent source of good nutrition, medical care, and spiritual guidance, the children are finding stability and opportunities for their future and their families.

As our families grow, so do our needs. 

Government regulations require children's homes to own their own property. Homes not in compliance by living in rented facilities risk having the children removed by the government. 

In 2014, after 7 years of prayer and fundraising, we built our first home in Delhi and have since built a home in Kolkata. We have purchased property in Manipur to build a home for the children we care for there.

Every child deserves security and stability, with plenty of space to grow and play freely. Asha Mission is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that operates on a small budget. We are fully dependent upon donations.
