Assistance League of East Valley Arizona

Imagine being too embarrassed to go to school because your clothes are worn and the only pair of shoes you own have holes in them. Imagine being a family that's lost everything in a fire or an assault victim who finds that their clothes need to be kept as evidence and that they have nothing to wear out of the facility. Imagine being a high school graduate who dreams of going on to college, but can't afford the tuition. Members of our community face challenges like these every day, and our organization is dedicated to helping them meet these challenges. 

Assistance League® of East Valley, is a nonprofit, charitable organization that works with community agencies and schools to support children in need, as well as children and adults who find themselves in a crisis situation. We are a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization of dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers - with no paid employees. In 2020-2021, members and community volunteers contributed more than 18,800 service hours, returning a value of $528,454 to our community and enabling us to touch the lives of more than 15,000 community members. 

The programs we support include the following:

1. Operation School Bell®, provides clothes and school uniforms for elementary school children, as well as clothes and hygiene items for homeless teens. 
2. Our Assault Survivor Kits® program helps victims of abuse and violence. 
3. Our Adopt a School program provides books and supplies to students in our community. 
4. Our scholarship program helps further the education of students attending accredited institutions of higher learning in Arizona.

Because we are an all-volunteer organization, all funds donated to Assistance League® of East Valley go straight to supporting our programs. In 2020-2021, Assistance League® of East Valley returned over $430,000 to our community. Your generous donations help support our work.
