Hearing a child ask "I get my very own toothbrush?" or say "now my sister and I can go to school every day...we don't have to share a pair of shoes" breaks my heart.  I am very lucky to be able help these children select new school clothes through Operation School Bell.  Children choose new clothing...two tops, two bottoms, pair of shoes, 6 pair of socks, package of 6 underwear, jacket, a backpack filed with,school supplies/hygiene items, and a new book of their choosing.  New clothes help the child fit in which encourages school attendance. Education is a very important tool for the future of our children.  A principal from Amphitheater Public Schools stated "...We appreciate participating in this program since our families are always in need.  These contributions make it possible for our students to have appropriate clothing for school."  See the photo of the wall of thanks from the children.
