We are a new local non-profit providing legal representation to the immigrant community in the Denver metro area and beyond. We are a small group of individuals all coming from different cultural heritages and most experiencing personally the strife and emotional pains that come along with the immigration process. Due to this personal knowledge we have set out to provide immigrants from all walks of life the relief they seek and deserve. Many people come to the United States of America to fulfill a dream, escape deplorable or dangerous conditions, or to reunite with loved ones; everyone should have the opportunity to reach these goals, this is the gap we intend to fill.
Our common goal is to provide affordable legal representation to the entire immigrant community based upon the federal poverty guidelines. The truth of the matter is that many immigrants find themselves being taken advantage of and underrepresented by many for profit entities. Through our collective past experience we have witnessed immigrants spending their hard earned money on immigration relief services they would never obtain; we strive to eliminate this disconnect and to not only assist the client in obtaining immigration relief but to improve their standard of living. In order to achieve this goal we place the interest of the client first, maintain the highest ethical standards, look at clients as life changing stories and not revenue, and endeavor to alter the perception of how legal representation should be offered.
The sole purpose of this campaign is to raise funds to provide pro bono service to the mass of unaccompanied minors currently entering the USA. Many of these unaccompanied minors arrive with the vision of improving not only their lives but those of their families left behind or to reunite with their families in the states. These minors possess the same aspirations and dreams we all have to improve their circumstances but many do not have the means or competence to do so on their own; we will not allow them to fall to the wayside and fail. We are all aware that the youth is the future of every culture, through our organization we want to assist them in achieving their personal triumphs; this is how we would measure our success. Every dollar received through this, and future, campaigns will be directly used solely to obtain relief for unaccompanied minors. To maintain accountability you may request an accounting of the usage of donated funds pertaining to this and future campaigns to assure that all funds are being used for the intended purposes.
Depending on the success of this campaign, we will pursue future campaigns to raise funds to continue to provide pro bono services to the unaccompanied minors that continue to arrive.
As we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization all donations are tax deductible. To obtain further information on tax deductibility please contact me by phone or email. While some may wish to remain anonymous, we would at least ask that you give us the opportunity to thank you personally for your contribution to our cause of assisting the youth.
Since we are a non-profit we are limited to the amount or form of rewards we will be able to provide for donations further then what is stated below, if you have any suggestions or guidance please personally contact me.
I encourage you to contact me personally by phone or email, gmontalvo@aidimmigrants.org, if you wish to obtain further information about our organization or this campaign. Also, please visit our website to obtain further information www.aidimmigrants.org
