The mission of Advanced Technologies Academy is to empower a diverse student body to succeed in a competitive world by promoting academic concepts, technological skills, and ethical behavior.

A-TECH students are encouraged to participate in the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program, which permits the use of personal technology and communication devices during approved instructional times. Creative thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, skill expansion, and project-based learning are encouraged in all subject areas. Students are supported in their pursuits of individual product and theory development. During the 2013-2014 school year, 36.5% of students at Advanced Technologies Academy qualified for the Free and/or Reduced Lunch program. Donations to A-TECH would be used to assist clubs, such as, but not exclusive to Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA), Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), A-TECH Mock Trial Team, Model U.N., Skills U.S.A., and A-TECH Speech & Debate, to attend conferences and competitions across the United States.
