SADIE G. MAYS HEALTH & REHABILITATION CENTER IS AN INCREDIBLY SPECIAL PLACE.  It’s a place where older adults can be cared for in a comfortable, caring environment by skilled nursing professionals.  With services including long-term nursing care; short-term rehabilitative care with physical, occupational, and speech therapies; respite care; and hospice care. 

NOVEMBER 28, 2023 IS GIVING TUESDAY.  SOME SPECIAL FRIENDS HAVE GENEROUSLY PLEDGED $10,000 IN MATCHING FUNDS IF WE CAN RAISE THAT SAME AMOUNT.  Our goal now is to raise $10,000 so that we can receive the $10,000 matching gift by year-end.  We will purchase new tables for our dining room, where our residents take 95% of their meals and activities.  Will you help by making a gift today.

OUR BUILDING, WHICH WAS BUILT IN 1967, IS IN NEED OF RENOVATIONS AND UPGRADES.  We want to provide our residents with the level of comfort and high-quality care that they deserve.  We’ve made progress so far, by repairing our exterior and remodeling our lobby, dining room, and community baths.  We need your help to finish the job.

Founded by Sadie Gray Mays (Mrs. Benjamin E. Mays) in 1947, our facility was among the first nursing homes in Georgia where patients could receive professional care with dignity, regardless of race or economic status.
