As a community-based nonprofit organization, the mission of the Atlanta Land Trust is to deliver and steward permanently affordable housing to support inclusive, equitable communities near the Atlanta Beltline and other targeted areas in Atlanta. 

Why? Homeownership provides families whose annual household income falls between $49-$66K with a sense of security, stability, and wealth-generation within communities of their choice - often these are communities at risk of gentrification. ALT creates pathways to affordable homeownership and economic mobility for Atlanta families; the cost of owning a home goes beyond a mortgage payment.

To support ALT’s homeowners and future homeowners through this life-changing journey, we need the support of our community. Here are a few examples of how your tax-deductible donation will create a meaningful impact for ALT families:

• $20 funds one month of home repair reserves for an ALT homeowner
• $75 provides financial coaching classes for one of our homebuyers
• $150 purchases a gift card to Ace Hardware and a fully stocked toolbox for a new homeowner
• $250 provides home inspection financial assistance to a homebuyer 
• $1,000 funds professional landscaping costs for a new homeowner
