Always exploring
Aura CuriAtlas is known for collaborative creation and inventive blending of dance and theatre. We keep the qualities of lightness (Aura), strength (Atlas), and curiosity (Curi) at the center of our work. Our artistic home is anywhere we gather to create and exchange ideas. In a world that is digitally interconnected, yet often physically and emotionally isolated, we aspire to open minds and explore relationships through creativity and somatic expression.  

Our goals:
- Create fresh new works that invite imaginative engagement.  
- Share our creative process through improvisation, partnering, and collaborative creation. 
- Explore the power of mind-body connection through guided movement to acknowledge how life events impact us and how we can impact the world.

What is happening next:
We have been invited to perform and teach workshops at the National Dance Society conference, May 17-20 at William & Mary. Join us at the gala performance on Wednesday, May 20, 7pm at Phi Beta Kappa Memorial Hall. Tickets are $10 at the door.

Your donations make New Work possible
We are so grateful for the encouragement and financial muscle our donors provide each year. Your support helps us cover travel; performer, designer, and technician fees; space rental; costumes, sets, props; and marketing so that we can produce new work. We seek out in-kind support whenever possible.  We receive performance contracts and box office income, although sometimes our shows are free. We receive grants, which help move our projects forward. The last piece of the puzzle that makes our work possible is gifts from donors like you.
