Family Support Center Inc

The Family Support Center was founded in 1997 with a mission to improve the quality of life in children and families through education, advocacy and employment.  Our Family Programs include Parent Education programs, Bright Beginnings for teen moms, a Fatherhood program for noncustodial court ordered fathers, a new "Pathways to Responsible Fatherhood" program for volunteer fathers and mothers who need case management, job training, GED's and parenting classes to benefit themselves and their children creating healthy family relationship and economic stability.  The Center also has a  teen anger/bullying management class called COPE.  These programs assist children and parents in improving behavior modification and coping skills with the aim of preventing child abuse and neglect.  The Center also offers an Adult Education Program that includes GED classes, GED testing, EL/Civics and an Employment Preparation Program.  Through these many programs, the Center hopes to empower families and provide them an opportunity for a brighter and more successful future.
