Autumn House Foundation

The Autumn House Foundation is a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2011.  It is funded by generous donations from grateful families and friends, as well as hosting fundraising activities like our annual golf tournament. 

The mission of the Autumn House Foundation is to provide financial assistance with:

• "Respite" to the primary caregiver of those with memory loss.
• Travel and loding expenses to a family member to be with their loved one at end of life.

WHAT IS RESPITE CARE?  “Respite Care” is provided to a loved one with memory loss at one of our participating facilities specializing in caring for individuals with dementia.  This gives the primary caregiver a much needed break from the day-to-day care they are providing to their loved one with memory loss, knowing their loved one is receiving high quality safe care. 

This can be done through “Day Services” or a “Short Term Overnight Stay”

“Day Services” means a break during the daytime hours or waking hours.  The gives the caregiver time to run errands, attend to appointments or just relax knowing your loved one is engaged in activities and enjoying chef prepared meals. 

“Short Term Overnight Stay” means the individual spends the day plus stays overnight at one of our facilities.  This gives the caregiver the opportunity to leave town for a family event or just to relax knowing your loved one is engaged in activities and enjoying chef prepared meals.

The "Autumn House" was a residential facility created to care for those at end of life.  The house closed in 2013, but the mission lives on to help families and those with memory loss.
