Ayaka Hope is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming lives through education in South Sudan. Our mission is rooted in the belief that education is not only a fundamental right but also a powerful tool for building a brighter, more peaceful future. 

In the wake of the civil war that devastated South Sudan, the education system has suffered immensely, leaving a staggering 72% of primary school-aged children without access to schooling. Ayaka Hope aims to change this narrative by financially sponsoring the education of these children. We support families by covering school tuition, fees, and providing essential supplies such as uniforms, books, backpacks, and shoes.

By focusing on education, Ayaka Hope addresses the immediate need to increase literacy rates, which currently stand at less than 48% among youth in South Sudan—the highest worldwide. Beyond literacy, education equips young minds with the skills needed for conflict resolution, crisis management, and sustainable community development, thereby fostering long-term stability and prosperity.

Through our efforts, we not only aim to break the cycle of poverty but also to empower individuals and communities to rebuild and thrive.
