Bayou Community Academy

The Mission of Bayou Community Academy is to guide students through an enriching and challenging humanities, fine arts, technology, mathematics, and science curriculum that are designed to prepare students for the future, making them lifelong learners, change agents, powerful communicators and good citizens.

Bayou Community Academy is located in Thibodaux, Louisiana. As a Pre-K through 8th grade College Preparatory Charter School, we strive to address the individual learning needs of our scholars while maintaining a rigorous and exploratory curriculum.

As a parent, I know that the school environment is safe and our children are always protected. The curriculum is challenging, and the professional staff works hard to insure that the students gain new knowledge in all areas. As a teacher, I respect the level of professionalism and I like the manner and respect I see the students giving the employees and vice versa. The staff is knowledgeable and trained in their content area.
