MISSION: The Blue Ridge Chorale exists to provide cultural and musical enrichment to its members and the community, primarily by presenting vocal concerts. In that endeavor it attracts musician and audiences from a variety of counties in the central Virginia area.

More About Us

The Blue Ridge Chorale (BRC), the premier central Virginia community choir since 1967. The BRC is a nonprofit organization with the goal of bringing inspiring choral music to our community. We strive to lift the hearts and minds of our listeners through song. At its beginning, a few music lovers decided to get together to sing, and with the guidance and help of wonderfully talented directors and accompanists, the Chorale has expanded far beyond what the originators could imagine. Today, we have singers of all ages from central Virginia counties, and we welcome all who enjoy music and love to sing.

The Chorale relies on donations and concert proceeds to continue its musical tradition. Your loyal support pays the salaries of our professional music team (Director, Asst. Director and Accompanist) as well as the cost of music and performance venues.
