Black Women's Wall Street, Inc. dba BWWS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and women-centric entrepreneurial development organization (EDO) with a particular focus on Black women (both African American and African women) in business. We "Empower! Educate! Equip!" Black women through our Idea 2 Inception (i2I) initiative and various business activities so that they can "Believe It. Build It. and Own It!"
Our Idea 2 Inception (i2I) entrepreneurship program offers fundamental business training on:
Foundational business principles training on how to start a business venture
Financial education to help make informed money management decisions to become viable and sustainable
Financial literacy to help manage and operate sustainable and scalable businesses that can compete and impact the local and global marketplace
BWWS Women-Centric Business Activities:
BWWS Facebook Live! Podcast and Webinars which features SMEs from various industries
One-On-One Small Business Consulting Services: Consulting services designed to provide microenterprises (for-profit and nonprofit) business, personal, and career coaching
Phase II i2I Sister Circle and i2I Mentors program initiative: Designed to provide our i2I newly minted business owners as well as other women founders continuous support and encouragement, creating opportunities to provide additional mentorship, coaching and training, various levels of support as well as access to strategic contacts and resources to help them remain sustainable and become scalable.
Vendor and Business Mixers/Networking events, Tough Talk (in-person) monthly forum, "Her Story, Her Vision" Vision Board Party, and Back 2 School Supply Drive.
Values: As global citizens, BWWS embraces the need for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives. We have a diverse volunteer team and offer women-centric business activities. At the core of what we do, we want to ensure Black women founders have a voice, are fully engaged and involved, make a difference, and have a positive social impact on our local and global communities through i2I, BWWS, The Boardroom Radio Show, and our various women-centric business activities. We're committed to being nondiscriminatory and providing equal opportunities for employment, volunteering, advancement, and strive to ensure Black women (those aspiring to become business owners, low to moderate-income and underserved, domestic violence/abuse survivors, veterans, and startup nonprofit founders are not lost in translation.
