Babys Bounty

Baby's Bounty accepts requests for assistance from over 100 social service agencies serving low income or disadvantaged families.  These new parents are recovering from domestic abuse, teen preganancy or unemployment.  They leave the hospital with a newborn and no safe place for the baby to sleep, no car seat to travel home safely and very few items of clothing.  A baby in need can receive the most essential items including clothes, bottles, blankets and diapers, a car seat, a portable crib, a bathtub, toiletries and a front carrier for the parent.  Caseworkers picks up the items and deliver to mother and baby, often as they leave the hospital.  We assist 50 to 60 babies each month and have distributed items to over 4,000 children since our launch in July of 2008.

The portable crib is our most requested item.  Baby's Bounty advocates and promotes safe sleep practices with the ABC's of safe sleep:  Baby sleeps Alone, on their Back, in a Crib.  We provide FREE safe sleep classes to our clients every Wednesday to ensure they know the dangers of bed sharing which can cause accidental rollover and suffocation.  Over 3,000 cribs have been distributed to babies in need.
