Bakersfield Christmas Parade Committee

WHO WE ARE:

The Bakersfield Christmas Parade Committee annually hosts the town's Christmas Parade each year in December since 1983. 

 

The Facts

• The Parade is annually held on the first Thursday per month in downtown Bakersfield
• The Parade draws in over 20,000 people 
• Annual funding raised helps pay for expenses of the Parade
• Once expenses are paid each year, the Parade Committee donates back to the CSU Bakersfield Scholarship Fund

• Rentals such as port-a-poties, lights, equipment
• Associated permits and fees
• Clean up of city 
• Security
