BandTogether

BandTogether was formed in 1997 with the initial goal of participating in that June's St. Louis Pride Parade. From humble beginnings as a ten-member band, BandTogether is now in its 26th season and has grown to include more than 180 musicians and performers organized into a Concert Band (performing four annual concerts), Marching Band (performing in the annual St. Louis Pride Parade), and Color Guard (performing with both the Concert and Marching Bands).

BandTogether is open to performers of all abilities. The group does not hold auditions and welcomes anyone at least 18 years old bring their talent to participate. Members bring a variety of playing levels and performance talents and come from all walks of life, ranging in age from 18 to over 70.

All BandTogether performances are presented at no charge to the public. BandTogether is a completely volunteer organization; members, officers, board members, and artistic directors receive no remuneration for the cumulative thousands of hours of effort that they contribute to the organization annually.
