Barnabas Horse Foundation

Do you believe that God will take our tragedies, our heartbreak, and our pain and use it for His glory? We do, and that is how the Barnabas Horse Foundation began. Here at Barnabas (which means "encourager"), it is our mission to encourage hope and healing through horses for children who have been abused or otherwise traumatized. Horses have long been a source of healing. They symbolize strength, yet are very nurturing and intuitive to the needs and emotions of those who enter their lives. Through a structured, interactive child-horse relationship, the children at Barnabas will have the opportunity to grow into confident, trusting individuals. As they learn to care for their equine friend, their self-worth will start to grow, thus facilitating the healing process.
