BayKids Studios helps heal children through the art of filmmaking.

BayKids Studios’ mission is to empower children facing medical challenges to express themselves through the art of filmmaking. Working in partnership with Children’s Hospital and Research Center Oakland and UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, our digital filmmaking programs provide hospitalized kids with the opportunity to explore their creativity while learning filmmaking, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Personal expression through filmmaking is therapeutic and life-affirming. Hospitalized children have little control over their situation. Through BayKids’ programs, they are able to take control of something creative and engaging and gain a sense of themselves as confident and empowered.

Please “run” our Movie Marathon with us and help keep BayKids thriving and our kids making movies. Here’s how:

- Grab some popcorn and watch the kids’ great movies.
- Start a team to raise funds for BayKids Studios. (Click on Fundraise for this cause to the right.)
- Make a donation to BayKids.
