Baystate Academy Charter Public School

Baystate Academy grew out of Springfield's need for students prepared for the demands for college and work, particulary int he areas of both health sciences adn STEM - science, technology, engineering and math.

College and career success is increasingly dependent on skills that go beyond content knowledge.  Through hands-on and project-based learning, students design expeditions, lead whole-school meetings and facilitate student-lead conferences.  They strengthen essential skills like leadership, effective communication and collaboration, time management and independence.
