Each year half a million people across America come together to have fun and raise money to support Big Brothers Big Sisters as we change how children grow up! Bowl for Kids’ Sake is the perfect way for individuals and corporations to make an impact on our community – it only takes a little bit of effort to raise the money that is vital to our program’s success.

This year, Big Brothers and Big Sisters volunteers spent over 9,000 hours supporting more than 400 youth in both Onondaga and Oswego Counties. They participated in organized events including Syracuse Stage productions, Open Hand Theater, Lights on the Lake, Syracuse Silver Knights soccer games, SU games, fishing derby, and holiday party. Each year, hundreds of Bigs, Littles and community supporters take part in our Bowl for Kids’ sake event, and we are grateful for their kind and compassionate willingness to participate.

In addition to the pledges raised by the bowlers, tax-deductible sponsorships and donations of gift certificates and in-kind items from community businesses make it possible to sustain our commitment to children in our community. We hope you will “Start Something” and participate, too.

So we ask for your participation as a bowler, sponsor, and/or donor. No bowling expertise is required, only the willingness to share in our heartfelt and sincere thanks for helping us transform our community.
