BCM International is a global Bible-Centered Ministry dedicated to making disciples of all age groups for the Lord Jesus Christ through evangelism, teaching and training so that churches are established and The Church strengthened.
In 1936, a remarkable journey began when Miss Bessie Traber, an American missionary, heard the heartfelt plea of Philadelphia youth – they longed for Bible clubs, just like those she'd organized in the Philippines.
With a heart full of dedication and a vision for spreading God's Word, Bessie Traber founded the Bible Club Movement 
, marking the humble beginnings of what we now know as BCM International.
Over the decades that followed, the Bible Club Movement blossomed and spread its wings across Europe, Asia, Latin America, and Africa.
From children's ministries to Christian camping, church planting, leadership training, publishing Bible curriculum and teaching materials, to a wide array of compassion and counseling ministries, BCM's mission evolved and expanded, touching countless lives along the way.
To better reflect this ever-widening focus, the organization modified its name to become Bible Centered Ministries International, a name synonymous with global impact, faith, and discipleship.
Who We Are
Bible Centered Ministries International is a global non-denominational ministry dedicated to Reaching Children and Developing Churches worldwide. BCM has more than 850 missionaries serving in over 50 countries across five continents as well as Pacific and Caribbean islands. We are committed to making disciples of all age groups for the Lord Jesus Christ through evangelism, teaching and training so that churches are established and the Church strengthened.
BCM ministers through evangelism, church planting, discipleship, leadership training and publishing Bible curriculum and teaching materials. Children’s ministries such as Bible clubs, released time classes, and camps are central to all BCM fields. BCM is also involved in compassion ministries such as disaster relief, community health care and development, and counseling.
