Be A Mentor transforms the lives of children and youth from underserved communities by pairing them with caring and positive adult role models who guide, uplift, and support them. 

Since its founding, Be A Mentor has recruited, screened, trained, and matched mentors with over 4,000 high-need youth in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our mentors help systems-impacted youth, many of whom are in foster care, providing critical guidance and nurturing relationships. 

Through partnerships with cities, counties, schools, and youth-serving agencies, we offer direct mentoring services that help our mentees develop the confidence and skills necessary to make healthy life choices, set realistic goals, and build vibrant, successful futures.
