DID YOU KNOW that by 2020 over 68% of Arizona jobs will require some form of training post high school? 

A little alarming given that in Arizona only 19 of every 100 night graders will graduate high school on time, and obtain a bachelor's degree within six years of high school graduation!

Be A Leader is out to make sure EVERY students has the opportunity to compete in our global economy.  We work with thousands of students each year to empower them to believe that college is not necessarily only a dream but a very true reality. 

Our ultimate goal is to have our students enroll in a post-secondary institution with the financial aid, motivation, and preparation needed to obtain a college degree!

A majority of our high school students attend schools where on average:

• 25% of students don’t graduate on time and
• For those who do only 40% end up enrolling in a 2 or 4 year postsecondary institution upon graduation
• Of those who end up at these institutions only 25% will graduate with a degree or certificate within six years (2015 Thriving Together Baseline Report).

Will you help us support our students in Arizona?  Your contributions will help provide students with access to free monthly college access programming and mentoring. 

$500 - Provides 1 student with an entire year of college-going programming

$250 - Will cover the cost of SAT practice materials for 14 students

$100 - Provides a scholarship for 1 HS freshman to cover school fees 

$50 - Pays the cost of the SAT for 1 student

$25 - Provides 5 high school seniors with a program binder to keep track of their senior year action plan
