In 2014, Dennis and Cheryl Williams opened Bella Ease, hoping to provide stability and opportunities for "at-risk" youth. Quincy Teen REACH quickly became a well-known program in our community- laying the foundation for future programs to thrive.

In 2018, Bella Ease was approached by DCFS to become a Family Advocacy Center, to preserve and reunify families involved in the child welfare system. Due to the program's success, Family Focus quickly grew and now offers support to families in eight counties: Adams, Brown, Pike, Scott, Morgan, Schuyler, Cass, and Hancock.

2022 was a time of rapid growth:

  • Community Services was created to help individuals obtain and retain head-of-household employment, improve job skills, and secure stable housing.

  • A free Care Closet was created, offering hygiene products to anyone in Quincy.

  • Food distributions were organized in Bella Ease's parking lot to connect with residents, distribute education/resources, and help fight hunger.

  • Youth Services began offering out-of-school programs for 3rd-5th graders and first-generation college students.

  • John Wood Community College began teaching GED classes, holding orientations, and administering tests at Bella Ease's facility with resounding success. Individuals with transportation issues were able to access our location and complete their GED.

Now we need your help! Building with Bella Ease is laying the foundation for change.

With program participation at an all-time high, we want to ensure that support is available in our community for years to come. Your donation will strengthen existing programs and lay the groundwork for additional resources.
