Equellness Center Promotes Wellness through Equine-Assisted Services

We foster mental fitness and personal growth through Equine-Assisted Services to build emotional resilience, social-emotional learning (SEL), and community wellness.

We are seeking $7,000 to increase our scholarship funds by 30% to serve the communities of Holy Cross Ministries and Summit County Clubhouse. At Equellness, we believe wellness should be accessible to all.Your donation will be matched by a generous community donor, doubling your impact!

Our Mission:

We create a safe, inclusive space for individuals of all ages to enhance mental fitness, and social emotional wellbeing. Our holistic approach integrates equine-assisted services, positive psychology, mindfulness, and SEL, supporting a community of wellness.

Our Programs:

Children’s Programs: Summer camps and after-school sessions foster empathy, communication, and emotional regulation through horse-based learning and mindfulness, all within an inclusive space that welcomes children from diverse backgrounds.

Horses create a unique environment where everyone starts on equal footing, regardless of family background, income, or ethnicity. This shared experience naturally encourages a sense of unity and belonging for all participants.

Adult Programs: Toolbox for Recovery provides a supportive environment for those facing mental health and/or addiction challenges to develop coping skills and emotional regulation.

Inclusivity & Scholarships

At Equellness, we believe wellness should be accessible to all.

We cultivate an inclusive space for children and adults from diverse backgrounds, especially those facing anxiety and shyness. Our programs offer an environment where participants can build self-regulation and a sense of security through rhythm, repetition, and ritual.

Through our partnership with Holy Cross Ministries, we provide scholarships to children and adults to ensure financial limitations don’t hinder access to our programs.

We also seek support to fund scholarships for members of the Summit County Clubhouse (SCC), a resource for individuals recovering from substance abuse and mental health challenges. Your contribution helps bring our equine-assisted services, mindfulness practices, and psycho educational tools to SCC members.

Why Support Us?

Your donation enables life-changing experiences, empowering participants to build resilience, emotional well-being, and personal growth through our equine-assisted programs.
