Supporters of BNRC protect and preserve the natural beauty and ecological integrity of the Berkshires, for public benefit and enjoyment.

BNRC donors conserve open space, protect wildlife and habitat, preserve local farms, build climate resilience, and provide free public access to the Berkshire outdoors for everybody. BNRC assists towns, cities, other land trusts, and state agencies with conservation projects as well.

There are 56 BNRC conservation reserves across the Berkshires, featuring over 60 miles of trails, open to the public for free, every day, for a wide variety of outdoor recreation. Three reserves—Old Mill Trail in Hinsdale/Dalton, Parsons Marsh in Lenox, and Thomas & Palmer Brook in Great Barrington—are specifically designed for universal accessibility.

The free BNRC Berkshire Trails app is available to help you plan your outdoor adventures. BNRC staff host free guided group outings every month of the year.

BNRC is donor funded. Donors make all of this possible.

You can learn more at bnrc.org, and check out BNRC's conservation reserves at bnrc.org/reserves.
