Bernard Playground Project

The Bernard Playground and Recreation Project group believes that an outdoor space and playground is an integral part of a community. We aim to replace our aging playground equipment and create spaces for physical activity.

We aim to replace our aging playground equipment and create spaces for physical activity. We want to create an accessible area for our community to enjoy and use for generations to come. 

Our current equipment is past it's useful life. The equipment is dangerous and is in desperate need of replacement. We are also planning on creating space for community members of all ages to get outside and be active including a safe place to walk and a pickleball/multipurpose court.

Updated Features:

• Replace the playground equipment and surface

• Resurface the old basketball court to a multipurpose basketball and pickleball court

• Install walking path

• Update utilities (bury electric line)

• Replace existing fencing
